LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Craft technical designs for automation and integration solutions, driving operational efficiency and data quality.
Identify opportunities for automation, reducing manual tasks, and enhancing data flow.
Master scripting languages like Python and SQL to develop automation scripts and data pipelines.
Provide technical assistance and conduct testing for processes, contributing to continuous improvement.
Support data integration projects through mapping, transformation, and validation efforts.
Document technical specifications and procedures to ensure clarity and reproducibility.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Proficiency or experience with SQL relational databases.
Demonstrated analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
Eagerness to immerse in new processes and technologies.
Application of technical knowledge to practical challenges.
Familiarity with programming fundamentals (e.g., data structures, algorithms).
Passion for data and automation.
Exposure or familiarity with integration technologies and protocols such as REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, OAuth, etc.
ADDITIONAL APPLICATION INFORMATION
This is a 100% remote position for graduate students residing within the State of Texas. This position is available from June 1, 2024, through August 31, 2024, with the potential for an extension into the Fall semester.
POSITION INFORMATION
Graduate student: This position will provide a stipend of between $18,000 - $36,000
