The mission of The University of Texas M. D. The primary purpose of the Administrative Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services is to direct the development and delivery of divisional initiatives for patient experience, management skills development, Professionalism, and Diversity. Provides strategic and financial planning for long and short-term goals. Designs and implements systems and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of service and leadership quality. Develops, coaches and provides training programs.
Provides strategic and financial planning of long and short-term goals for Diagnostic Imaging Patient Experience activities. Directs setting and maintenance of policies. Identifies, researches, evaluates and implements new patient experience initiatives and services. Prepares Patient Experience strategic plans, business plans, annual reports and activity reports. Oversees the analysis and response plans and execution thereof. Leads the embedding of Patient and Family Advisors in DI committees.
Collaborates with Institutional Patient experience team, executive leadership, the full interdisciplinary team and other areas of the Division to ensure the development, implementation and monitoring of patient experience performance improvement initiatives related to the Patient Experience. Analyzes opportunities, identifies areas for improvement, makes recommendations and implements solutions. Works with departments across the division and institution to ensure programs' effectiveness and to advance the Patient Experience initiatives of the Division of Diagnostic Imaging.
Leads in planning, strategy development, implementation, measurement and budgeting of divisional leadership development and growth initiatives. Specifically, leadership, management, Six Sigma, Professionalism, Coaching, Mentoring, Communications, Wellness, Change Enablement, Huddles, Culture of Safety, Big Survey, and Diversity, Serves as a collaborator with the Institutional centered teams.
Manage initiatives on behalf of executive director like Value Analysis team, Culture of Safety and Big Survey Action planning and tracking
Other duties as assigned.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospital/Healthcare Administration or related field.
Preferred: Master's degree in Business, Hospital/Healthcare Administration or related field.
Required: Five years of section or department management experience or project management experience.
Preferred Experience: Seven years of progressive and responsible health care or business management
Preferred: Seven years of progressive and responsible health care or business management experience. Three years of program, project or operations management experience in an academic medical environment to include involvement in patient experience.

Midpoint Salary: US Dollar (USD) 102,000
Maximum Salary : US Dollar (USD) 122,400
