The main objective of the Ambassador role is to ensure the utmost quality in patient / visitor experience as part of the institutional Welcome Initiative. This position is part of our comprehensive guest management and visitor access strategy and directly influences departmental functions and overall patient / visitor experience across the institution.

The shifts are varied and the locations include the TMC offsite:

ROC 5:30-2 PM or 1-9:30 PM

PTC1 5:30-2 PM or 7:30-4 PM

PTC2 6-2:30 PM or 8:30- 5 PM

LSP 6-30-3 PM or 730-4 PM (Half days on Friday)

Occasional TMC Main building float

Key Functions

Acknowledges and greets patients and visitors and performs health screening.

Accurately provides information and instruction, pertaining to all hospital campus to patients, visitors and staff.

Maintains a highly professional and positive attitude while dealing with customers and peers and performs multiple tasks as screener, greeter, information desk, in a fast-paced environment.

Other duties assigned.

Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Education Preferred: Associate's degree in related field.

Experience Required: Two years of customer service experience responding to customer inquiries or related experience. Bachelor's degree can be substituted for required experience.

Experience Preferred: Healthcare and/or Hospitality experience.

Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
