MD Anderson Cancer Center Building Services Superintendent - Facilities Property Management in Houston, Texas

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5pm-1:30am

Assists with the management of the Building Services Department to maintain standards, effective communication, meet supervisory and staff training requirements.

Equipment Program Monitors/maintains cost of repairs, orders parts from vendors, repairs equipment as needed in a timely manner and ensures equipment is kept at optimal levels for daily use. Ensure equipment is safe, cleaned and operational which is monitored through documentation.

Departmental Development Charts Develop various charts to improve staff/department productivity. E.g. Operational charts to indicate data resulting in ACR and employee inspections. PTO charts that are maintained to ensure employee vacation times are staggered throughout the fiscal year. 3M trace charts to indicate level one areas to be inspected, such as PACU, MSF, OR, pharmacy and patient exam rooms.

Level 1, 2 and 3 Program Ensure Team Leaders are following the implemented program to present a clean and well maintained facilities to patients, customers and visitors. Assist Team Leaders with follow-up inspections to confirm program results are achieved consistently.

Required: High school graduate or equivalent . Eight years experience in commercial or industrial housekeeping experience to include five years of management experience in a commercial or industrial setting.

Salary Range: $44,800 - $57,400 - $70,000
