As a key member of thePresident's Leadership Team, the Chief Operations Officer (COO) will championquality, develop strong partnerships and provide focused leadership onoperational performance, and clinical transformation in the hospital andambulatory environment. The COO willhelp drive the organization to thrive, expand its footprint, and bolster theinstitution's reputation for exceptional care.

TheCOO will:

  • Work closely in adyad relationship with the Chief Medical Executive to drive processimprovements focused on innovation and on operational models designed toimprove access to care, outcomes, and financial performance.

  • Provide strategicand operational input to transform the delivery of care creating a moreconsistent patient experience by enhancing clinical integration and carecoordination across the clinical enterprise

  • Work withorganizational leaders to create an environment that promotes collectiveresponsibility and accountability, removing silos and building collaborationacross the institution to create a sense of 'systemness' across the continuumof care

  • Ensure strategiesand goals of the clinical operations are aligned with the organization'sfinancial planning and support its financial performance.

  • Ensure the institution'sclinical operations is prepared for the future direction of the health careenvironment, including federal and state regulation, reimbursement policy, andcompetitive forces.

  • Promoteinnovative solutions to bed capacity management in the inpatient setting anddemand generation in the ambulatory environment.

  • Act as a positivechange agent, respecting the culture while challenging the status quo.

  • Director ClinicalOperations Finance

  • Ten years of seniorleadership experience within a large medical center or complex hospital/healthsystem

  • Strongoperational and financial acumen

  • Ability to leadand partner around a vision for outstanding healthcare delivery

  • A Master'sDegrees in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health orrelated field.
