Interventional Radiology (IR) is a hybrid specialty that blends diagnostic imaging and surgery together to treat patients using minimally invasive image guided techniques. The Interventional Radiology Section operates inpatient and outpatient procedural facilities that function similarly to other procedural centers within our institution, such as the GI and Cardiopulmonary Centers. Interventional Radiology also runs a clinic in addition to providing in-patient consultation and post-procedure management services. Because of this broad scope of practice, IR serves as an essential core group and clinical resource within the institution and is often recognized as a distinct unit from the Department of Diagnostic Radiology.
Clinical Nurse opportunity in Interventional Radiology. The ideal candidate will be a RN with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Prior IR, ICU, ER, Cath Lab, Endoscopy, or Telemetry experience is a plus.

Required: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Preferred: 2 years RN experience.
Preferred: Prior IR, ICU, ER, Cath Lab, Endoscopy, or Tele experience.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
Required: Current State of Texas professional nursing license (RN).
