The MD Anderson Physicians Network improves cancer care in the general community by providing world-class, MD Anderson-branded oncology services to local hospitals across the United States. Our multidisciplinary network of providers is committed to delivering the most appropriate cancer treatment using the MD Anderson Cancer Center clinical guidelines, which includes an integrated approach to education, prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. Providers in the Physicians Network include community-based, board certified medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and cancer surgeons.


The Quality Management Coordinator assists with data collection and analysis of quality improvement indicators, collaborates in performance improvement projects, and participates in the design, generation and analysis of reports for data collection related to quality support to multidisciplinary conferences for national and international MDACC affiliates. They will develop action plans for medical record reviews and site visits for MDAPN providers, create and maintain affiliates' quality improvement plans, and function as the primary quality contact for assigned affiliate sites. They also serve as a resource for compliance with accrediting bodies, regulatory agencies and professional standards.

This position will require travel for 2-4 days at a time, a maximum of four times a year.

Salary Range: $68,800 - $86,000 - $103,200


Required: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.

Preferred: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN).


Required: Three years of oncology clinical experience.

Preferred: Five years of clinical experience to include two with outcomes and quality improvement programs and/or case management.


Required: Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN)

Preferred: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) by the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) and/or Oncology Nursing Certification
