The primary purpose of the Development Specialist position is to assist the Business Solutions team with gift processing and quality assurance, document and constituent record management in an effort to improve and maintain data integrity for effective, efficient, and strategic fundraising efforts.
Perform data management tasks which consist of, but not limited to; changing addresses, flagging of special handling and mail codes, salutations and input of notes as needed.
Perform routine data hygiene and management efforts (i.e. duplicate records; merge records)
Process Return Mail & Requests for Opt-Outs and Data Updates
Document Management/Gift QA floater: Analyze gifts, donor information, and other documentation to determine identity of donor and allocation for donations. Ensure accurate translation and entry of that information into the donor database. Process donor acknowledgement letters (and other departmental correspondence).
Execute special projects, as needed, to support the work of the department.
Other duties as assigned.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field.
Required: One year of clerical, office, administrative, organizational, or related support experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
