The Executive Director, Clinical Operations Informatics is responsible for creating and shaping the analytics strategy, architecture, and of quality measures for the institution. Communicates benefits of analytics to executives and users to support operational priorities. Continuously identifies processes to automate and/or eliminate reports by applying business process improvement and process reengineering. Partners with key stakeholders on resource needs and approval of large-scale space planning.
Manage operations through the development, monitoring and achievement of goals that support consistent high-quality services and drive operations in alignment with strategic plans. Effectively utilize organizational information systems and data related to operational priorities.
Build an effective workforce and promote a positive work environment, influence retention, interpret and apply consistency in managing a diverse qualified, efficient, and engaged workforce. Perform talent management activities and succession planning activities with a focus on leadership development, goal setting, leadership accountability, mentoring, and support. Coach and develop staff by providing effective and timely feedback to include recognizing employees and addressing performance using the performance management system. Develop and communicate ambitious performance measures with leadership to improve outcomes.
Ensure staff and self are educated on an ongoing basis and in compliance with state, federal, and regulatory agency(s) requirements, in addition to adherence with organizational and departmental policies, procedures and practices of the organization.
Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of fiscal policy and internal controls.
Provides leadership and direction to prospect development and creates vision for leveraging tools and analyses to aid in prospecting efforts. This could include, though not limited to, the development of predictive models and other scoring methodologies utilized to create greater precision and efficiency in prospecting and prospect management, thereby impacting growth and performance.
Oversees the tracking of major tasks and deliverables and ensuring various work streams are meeting deadlines and budget constraints. Responsible for maintaining and communicating project readiness reports of various sorts as needed.
Five years of leadership experience in professional data analysis
Eight years of clinical informatics experience
Experience in a large healthcare provider organization
Experience in process improvement and Epic
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or related field.
