Ten years of experience working in a communications program to include five years of management experience.
Experience in one or more of these technology applications for communication:
Online and Social Media
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or related field.
With Master's degree, eight years of experience is required.
The Executive Director, Digital Communications and Content is responsible for MD Anderson's digital media communications, creative output, and advancing application and content strategies.
The Executive Director directs the teams delivering, web, social media, design, medical illustration, medical photography, general photography and video programs.
The position occupies a highly visible and high-impact leadership role within the institution and the community, and works collaboratively with senior executives, faculty, administrators, patients, other Strategic Communications team members and additional stakeholders who contribute to MD Anderson's mission and success.
