MD Anderson Cancer Center Postdoctoral Fellow - Genetics - Majumder Lab in Houston, Texas
We are seeking a committed postdoctoral researcher to join our group.
This role focuses on studying mechanism-based therapeutic approaches for brain tumors using mouse models. The position involves a variety of experimental techniques, including biochemical and molecular analyses such as Western blot, quantitative RT-PCR, immunofluorescence, chromatin immunoprecipitation, single cell RNA-Seq and epigenomic profiling, data analysis, and interpretation.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
A key component of the position is to enhance scientific communication skills, both written and oral, while fostering personal growth. This includes building a robust network of colleagues to support laboratory work and effectively promoting one's research program post-tenure in the lab.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
A PhD is required. Candidates should possess strong experience in Neuroscience, Molecular Biology, Developmental Biology, or mouse models of disease. Proficiency in relevant molecular biology and neuroscience techniques within mouse models is highly desirable.

POSITION INFORMATION
MD Anderson offers full-time postdoc positions with a salary ranging from $64,000 to $76,000 (https://trainees.mdanderson.org/apply/mdaPostdoctoralFellowStipendFY24.pdf) . depending on the number of years of postgraduate experience.
