he Department of Clinical Cancer Prevention - Research at MD Anderson Cancer Center has an available postdoctoral fellow position open to study cancer diagnostics and therapeutics in the Hanash Laboratory. The laboratory focuses on the application of Omics technologies to define signatures for early cancer detection and for identifying novel targets for therapeutics by mining the cancer surface. The post-doc will work under the supervision of Dr. Hanash on molecular profiling of a type of cancer.
The postdoctoral fellow will work under the supervision of Dr. Hanash. The primary research focus will be conducting in vitro and in vivo experiments to test the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic targets resulting from the discovery work. The fellow will also gain extensive experience in Omics technologies, preclinical animal models, clinical specimen validation, and big data analysis.
We seek a highly motivated individual with a PhD or MD in molecular biology/cancer biology.
