Committee Support - Coordinates functions and activities for the following committees: Institutional Safety Committee, Emergency Management Strategic Advisory Council, Everbridge Steering Committee and other committees as needed.
Reviews and coordinates updates of all Joint Commission Management Plans and Annual Assessments.
Stays abreast of all Joint Commission standards. Assist with updates of self-assessments for Joint Commission.
Policies and Procedures - Coordinates review and revisions of all institutional safety policies and departmental procedures.
- Assists with updates of Emergency Operations Plan. Coordinate electronic and hard copy updates.
Communications - Coordinates review and revisions of all departmental publications – Safety and Emergency app, flip charts, emergency cards.
Works closely with Internal Communications to update the Emergency Alert website and Joint Commission and Emergency Planning Intranet site.
Hurricane Season Readiness - Coordinate collection of ride out headcount for the institution
Maintain ride out and essential personnel SharePoint form. Make updates annually
Coordinate distribution of ride out stickers and meal tickets
Assist with all other hurricane season readiness activities
Other Duties - Participates in all other program functions as needed such as training, emergency drills etc.
Creates flow charts for processes as needed
Play a lead role in planning safety expo activities for the team
Assist team with all other program activities as needed
Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. Education preferred: Master's degree. Three years project/program coordination experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis. With preferred degree, one year of required experience.
