MD Anderson Innovation Center Program Management
Evaluates, organizes, manages, directs and implements programs for the MD Anderson Innovation Center: Ideas Lab.
Initiate contact with physician stakeholders using interviews, site visits, workflow analysis, case studies, etc. to help define user requests from the underlying true needs.
Defines scope, budget, and timeline for engagements with outside partners.
Primary contact for project approvals with institutional Office of Technology & Commercialization.
Develop, nurture and maintain solid business relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.
Leads project team and measures effectiveness.
Acts as a proxy representative by reviewing and coordinating execution of legal contracts with MD Anderson Legal Services and outside product development firms.
Maintains ongoing communication and track progress of product development throughout the project lifecycle.
Innovates and creates new and unique methods and procedures.
Ensures regulatory compliance.
Product Development and Research
Educates MD Anderson employees on how to pursue their novel ideas.
Assists leadership with project selection during Division of Surgery meetings and updates MD Anderson Innovation Center members on projects through presentations and/or reports.
Creates comprehensive process flow charts of product development models.
Independently conducts research, through independent data research and/or user shadowing, to identify business problems which require innovative solutions.
Works with external departments to move idea/product forward.
Metrics and Cost Management - Develops metrics for quantifying and tracking the operational or clinical impact for solutions under development.
Analyzes, interprets and presents data to key stakeholders.
Pulls all necessary performance data and creates performance metrics reporting and provides to leadership on a monthly basis.
Conducts cost-benefits analysis.
Customer Experience Supports programmatic efforts by providing consultation and assistance to the physician innovative and administrative leadership with program information

Required: Bachelor's degree.
Preferred: Master's degree.
Required: Five years of related program management experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis. With preferred degree, three years of required experience.
Preferred: Must have a Bachelor's degree. Demonstrated experience with change enablement, running operational projects, and complex reporting and data analysis is required.
