MD Anderson Cancer Center Program Manager - The Academic Cancer Data Science Collaborative Ecosystem in Houston, Texas
To accelerate discovery through rapidly developing data science methods, MD Anderson has built an inter-institutional data collaboration resource to enable academic data collaborations over multi-dimensional data derived from clinical, research, and operations sources from within institutional Data Management Systems (DMS). The Academic Cancer Data Science Collaborative Ecosystem (A-CADENCE) will (1) provide operational support for coordination of research collaborations over institutionally-controlled high-quality data through a cloud-based infrastructure, (2) propagate and leverage the Team Data Science principles to facilitate shared pursuits to tackle cancer questions and challenges through collaborative investments around data analytics paired with high-quality data generation and flow among like-minded institutions, (3) manage contracts/IRB protocols and promote the connectivity to the participating institutions through a cloud-based framework, and (4) support access to a common environment for data findability, harmonization, analytics and dashboard reporting for participants.
The A-CADENCE Program Manager will work closely with the Institutional legal and compliance teams to implement data collaboration agreements and address the IRB and data use contract requirements that bridge institutions.
