MD Anderson Cancer Center Radiation Physics Research Assistant II in Houston, Texas
This Research Assistant II in the department of Radiation Physics-Research at MD Anderson Cancer Center will assist in collecting and processing experimental data in support of ongoing research projects. The responsibility for duties is in accordance with research projects in the Department of Radiation Physics, Division of Radiation Oncology.
This is a full-time position, initially funded for three years.
The ideal candidate will have research experience working in a physics lab environment.
Performs experiments and measurements.
Collects experimental data.
Provides data management and analysis assistance for active research.
Develops software and/or analytical tools for data analysis.
Required: Bachelor's degree with major course works in one of the basic sciences.
Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Required: Two years experience in scientific or experimental research work.
No experience required with a Master's degree.
Preferred: Previous experience in performing research in a physics laboratory.
