The primary purpose of the Research Assistant II position is to provide technical assistance in carrying out projects related to epithelial cell biology using zebrafish.

The salary range is min $ 34,400 mid $ 43,000 max $ 51,600.

The ideal candidate will have Zebrafish experience.

Key Functions

  • Maintains stocks of zebrafish.

  • Conducts experiments and carries out research projects in areas of molecular

biology, genetics, and cell biology.

  • Constructs, assembles and operates laboratory apparatus and equipment.

  • Records and evaluates data in accordance with methods requested.

  • Reads literature and confers with superiors regarding new procedures and

modifies them according to the needs of the project.


Required: Bachelor's degree with major course works in one of the basic sciences. Two years experience in scientific or experimental research work.


Required: No experience required with preferred degree.

Preferred: Zebrafish experience.
