J OB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Research, Molecular Experiments & Collaboration
Independently performs a variety of molecular experiments, such as DNA and RNA extraction, PCR, immunohistochemistry, Western blot and immunoprecipitation, tissue culture etc., and handles small research animals with regular and accurate documentation of results in written form.
Organize Experiments/Protocols Database
Enters and maintains experimental data and protocols and stocks of research materials.
Presents results of experiments on a regular basis to principal investigator.
Writes manuscripts and abstracts.
Administrative Lab Activities
Assists in ordering, maintenance and preparation of laboratory reagents and buffers.
Stock the research materials.
PhD in one of the natural sciences or related field or Medical degree With PhD, no experience required. With Medical degree, two years of experience in experimental or scientific work.
