The mission of The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center is to

education for undergraduate and graduate students, trainees, professionals,

The salary range is min $ 59,200 mid $ 74,000 max $ 88,800.
1. Research Projects:
Independently plans, organizes, coordinates, directs and participates in scientific research projects.
Organizes and analyzes data from the different clinical trials to be
presented at different meetings.
Assigns and reviews work of subordinates.
Attends day-to-day meetings pertaining to the Immunotherapy
Platform and informs superior about meeting outcomes.
- Supervises the design, development, or adapting of equipment used in experiments or research to obtain desired results. Plans and
supervises the training of technicians and other laboratory personnel
with respect to proper laboratory techniques, the use of laboratory
equipment, and safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
2. Flow Analysis:
- Optimizes and establishes new immunomonitoring technologies
(such as Cytometry by time-of-fight or Cytof, UV-mediated ligand
exchange of peptide-MHC class I complexes.) to be used at the
- Monitors patients' tissues (blood and tumor) using cutting edge
technologies including flow cytometry (18 colors), high order ELISPOT
(3 colors or more), serum analysis using protein/eptide microarrays,
4. Standard Operating Procedures:
- Writes SOP's to be used in the lab.
Required: Ph.D. in Natural Science, related field or medical degree.
Required: Five years of experience in experimental or scientific work.
Preferred: Experience with CyTof.
