The Threat & Risk Protection Analyst is responsible for researching and analyzing data to reduce threats and criminal risks to the institution.

Minimum: $68,400 Midpoint: $85,500 Maximum: $102,600
Research and Analysis :Researches,analyzes, and reports on data from various sources related to threat/riskincidents and investigations. Identifies trends and develops strategies toincrease safety to the institution.
Teamwork: Workswith the Behavioral Intervention Teams to provide case management of complexincidents. Assists with outreach efforts to educate on behavioral patterns andtrends.
Compliance: Ensuresinformation management procedures comply with federal, state, andinstitutional policies.
Other Duties: Otherduties include, but are not limited to, emergency recall and/or may be requiredto remain onsite or work extended hours during man-made or natural disastersand unusual occurrences on campus. Local or long distance travel may be required for training or otherbusiness purposes occasionally.
Required: Bachelor's degree.
Preferred: Master's degree.
Required: Five years of experience in risk evaluation and analysis, threat assessments and analysis, law enforcement, general case investigations, behavioral intervention analysis, crisis management, or conflict resolution.
With preferred degree, three years of experience in risk evaluation and analysis, threat assessments and analysis, law enforcement, general case investigations, behavioral intervention analysis, crisis management, or conflict resolution.
Required: Valid Class C Texas driver's license.
