The successful applicant will play a critical role in advancing our understanding of leukemias such as AML, immune cell interactions and/or the development of both in vitro and in vivo models to study these mechanisms. Furthermore, the candidate will contribute to our cellular, molecular, and functional genomics research efforts.

Our laboratory is a blend of computational and experimental methodologies. This position is geared towards experimental laboratory work; however, candidates with additional computational skills are encouraged to apply, although it is not a requirement.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Candidates will learn how to design experiments, perform cellular and molecular assays, flow cytometry, tissue staining, in vivo work and co-culture assays, etc. The work will be integrated with functional genomics and computational results that will allow multidisciplinary learning. Candidates will work in a team-based science allowing building collaborations.
