The essential aspect of this research intern position lies in active participation in groundbreaking leukemia research within our advanced lab setup. The program ideally suits those at the postgraduate level or above, preferably with a specialty in biomedical sciences or a related field. The role involves practical training in using innovative lab tools and analytical methods, including but not limited to molecular biology techniques, cell culture, data analysis, and interpretation. Key activities include experimental design and execution, data collection, analysis, and preparing presentations to communicate research findings. LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Expand Research Skills and Knowledge: The trainee will participate in active research projects, which will enhance their understanding of study design, data collection and analysis, and interpretation of results. The trainee will learn to apply rigorous scientific methodology, understand the ethical considerations in research, and gain proficiency in using various research tools and software.

Cultivate Critical Thinking: Through regular meetings and discussions, the trainee will learn to appraise scientific literature critically, identify gaps in current research, and formulate research questions. This will foster their problem-solving abilities and promote innovative thinking.

Develop Effective Communication Skills: The trainee will learn to articulate research findings in both written and oral forms clearly. The intern will have opportunities to write manuscripts, prepare research reports, and present at team meetings and scientific conferences. Through critical thinking, the trainee will develop their ability to communicate complex scientific ideas to various audiences.

Professional Development: The trainee will gain exposure to the multidisciplinary teamwork involved in research and understand the dynamics and roles within a research team. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as biology, biochemistry, medical sciences, or equivalent. Those with a master's degree in similar disciplines will be given preference. Degrees must have been conferred within twelve months of the application submission.

Understanding of Research Principles: Applicants should have a solid understanding of basic research principles and methodologies. Prior coursework in research methods, statistics, or related areas will be considered beneficial.

Previous Research Experience: Prior experience in a research setting is desirable. This could be in the form of undergraduate research projects, internships, or work experience. Candidates who have contributed to published research articles will be preferred.
