MD Anderson Cancer Center Credentialing Coordinator - Medical Staff Office (Out of State Licensure) in United States
The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for applying for and maintaining licensure and registration for clinical faculty and other licensed practitioners employed with MD Anderson Cancer Center. This position is an integral part of the growth and development of the Out of State Licensing Program that is a part of the expansion of MD Anderson's virtual care footprint.
The position serves as an Administrative Liaison with clinicians and clinical departments and is responsible for all aspects of applying for licensure in the designated area assigned. All processes for this team are designed in a team approach with all members of the team functioning as an integral part of the development of the program.
The ideal candidate will have five years of experience in medical staff services, credentialing, accounting, auditing or other related field. Quality experience is preferred, but not required. Experience with credentialing software, DocuSign and Microsoft suite.
Out of State Licensure Processes
Responsible for facilitating the application for out of state licensure for faculty and other credentialed individuals assigned.
Data Entry/Data Review
Responsible for data entry of all information required in practitioner's profile/database record related to obtaining out of state licensure
Serves as liaison to administrative support staff in the clinical department for coordinating credentialing of potential candidates for medical staff membership.
Medical Staff Support
Responsible for supporting the OPPE, FPPE and expirable processes.
Other duties as assigned.
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
Required: Three years of experience in medical staff services, credentialing, accounting, auditing or other related field.
Preferred: Five years of experience in medical staff services, credentialing, accounting, auditing or other related field. Quality experience is preferred, but not required. Experience with credentialing software, DocuSign and Microsoft suite.
